Imagine a healthy cooperation between humans and nature, witness it transcend into a timeless and ageless struggle. While we selfishly act day after day. Material failure is a digital art exhibition that aims to make the observer aware of the issue of climate change. The digital exhibition shows, through artificial intelligence, how the great technologies that help fight climate change have been destroyed by it, by the force of nature and by the worsening environmental conditions. The message that material failure wants to convey is that what has been done so far is not enough, that the human race cannot rely on new technologies alone but that a radical change of thinking is needed: this is demonstrated by the solar panels melted by the excessive heat of the sun, or the wind turbines that turn out to be underwater due to the rising sea level.
